SLR film camera

I have a limited budget (around $250) and am looking for a second hand slr film camera - can anyone comment on the best to buy? Also, is the Pentax K1000 better than the P30?

hi there, i was looking for a camera with in a budget and i when on e-bay and got one for £30 plus got a few lens and few filter to go with it. it a risk you take when you go on e-bay. also you can pick some good cameras up from the charity shops..
