Hi, I was looking at lastolite backgrounds with a train and came across this background which shouldn't need a background suppport by tthe description.
Any feedback would be appreciated.
Cheers

had one similar a while back, and had a succession of other bendy backgrounds since.

These were too big and unwieldy to free stand... used to clamp it to the crosspole of a goalpost kit and it worked like a dream... but the size was misleading... the one I had said 8x8... this was the effective shooting area.. opened out it was bigger than that - easily 9x9, and maybe more.

Didnt last long.. white is totally unwashable so in the bin it went!

I bought one of these from these people (really friendly and helpful) - must admit I had a few problems folding it initially, but can now do it in about 30 seconds flat. The internal frame on these seem to a bit stronger than others that I have seen so have had no problems setting it up - all in all first rate (and a damn site cheaper than lastolite)

These are really good, but when Dirty they are then Bin Fodder really,

The newer background rolls ( not Paper ) are better as are gloss & matte and wipe clean, but still suffer from the ladies Stilletoes

The pop ups are good for location shoots as quite portable once you learn how to put them away, and you need to get it supportes still as weights need to be placed on the train as to keep a nice curve in the fabric..

I have only the 6 x 5 pop ups from Lastolite Pro range, but would prob pay for the Back support system and rolls of Gloss / matte

Cheers
